Sadie Hawkins is Atlanta’s gravity-defying fireball. A burlesque aerialist, fire performance artist, and producer, her acts are charged with a sensuality and a sense of humor whether she’s in the air, on stage or afire.

Since her debut in 2004, Sadie has been entertaining audiences both as a solo performer and with troupes counted among the best of Atlanta. Currently an independent performer, Sadie travels extensively as a featured performer at corporate events, festivals and local productions. In 2014, Sadie launched Last Pasties Standing, an improv burlesque game show, which has grown into a successful event both in Atlanta and around the Southeast. In 2015, she began the Cheap Thrills! series of DIY-on-a-budget variety shows. She is also the Branch Manager of Dr Sketchy’s Anti-Art School Atlanta and has partnered with Talloolah Love to introduce Naked Girls Reading Atlanta.

Sadie Hawkins has been working with Hot Toddies Cabaret since 2009, and as well as collaborating with Flight of Swallows, an improv music and aerial performance group she co-founded with cellist Deisha Oliver in 2010. Previously, Sadie co-founded Blast-Off Burlesque, performing and producing with the group from 2006-2012. Known for quirky, performance art-style acts, Blast-Off Burlesque was voted Best Burlesque Troupe in Creative Loafing’s annual Best of Atlanta survey 2009 through 2012 and in 2010, Atlanta Magazine named the group Atlanta’s Best Burlesque troupe. Sadie Hawkins began her relationship with burlesque as part of Doll Squad Burlesque Revue in 2004.

Sadie is best known for performing and teaching lyra (aerial hoop). In addition to lyra, she regularly works with fire and a variety of aerial apparatus including aerial net, silk sling, aerial rope, still rings, trapeze, chains, and a variety of improvised or custom-built apparatus such as aerial star, teardrop and more.
